Saturday mornings from 10.30am for 1 hour. Come and take a seat in the cook school and watch how easy it is to cook great food at home. Afterwards sample what has been demonstrated and collect the recipes.
*Priority seating now available. Book via phone (03 377 6994), on line or in person prior to the class. $10 per seat per class. Limited to 32 per class so seats are filled on a first book first seated basis. Further room is available to stand or lean.

The winners have been announced and once again Mercato is celebrating local and national success.
Saturday 8th March - Cafe Secrets
Michelle Read - Mercato's own cafe chef will be taking you through her secrets to achieving success in your kitchen with cafe foods. Different presentation ideas, flavour combinations and inspiration.
10th -14th March
Michelle has created special dishes around these products or in the case of the Bohemein Black Devil Caramel chocolates you simply buy one to eat with your coffee.
Saturday 15th from 10am till 2pm
Winning producers will be in store. Come and meet the maker, try their award winning product and celebrate with us.

We jump countries to discover another staple rice dish - this week Risotto. Understand the different rice varieties, the standard method and also we teach you the 'no stir ' method that may revolutionise the way you look at risotto.
